What is TSCM?
Technical surveillance counter-measures is the proper term for the process of detecting hidden surveillance devices. We go way beyond traditional TSCM work and delve deeply into network device detection as well. It's a new world for TSCM and we are there, in Canada, the U.S. and around the world.
We are also licenced by our regional government to do TSCM work, most companies and/or individuals are not.
TSCM can best be defined as the systematic physical and electronic examination of a designated area by highly trained, qualified and equipped persons in an attempt to discover electronic eavesdropping devices, security hazards or security weaknesses.
AMULETA™ does TSCM and more. We’re licensed and skilled and go the extra mile. Combine traditional TSCM with high end IT security skills and boots on the ground investigative skills and you have a team that can take on any challenge.
Yes, we have state of the art infrared cameras, software defined radio spectrum analysers, non-linear junction detectors and all the tools of the TSCM trade. But we combine all that with our high-end network security skills to sweep computers, software and networks for devices that we now find outside of the traditional bugs that we find in our modern surveillance heavy world. And we are licensed in Canada, and via our partners around the world, to investigate the person or persons responsible. Very few TSCM companies are at our level, or even close.
A TSCM investigation is a people investigation. Bugs don’t make bugs, people do.
We use forensic techniques to collect evidence from all kinds of devices, with the goal of linking such evidence to a person or persons who are committing the offence. This is about organized crime, industrial espionage, state espionage, domestic cases with a spying partner or stalker.
The list is endless, as are the surveillance devices out there now.
